Derek Nolan is the owner and principle at Twelve. He is a very highly regarded Chartered Accountant with 30 years experience in Public Practice.
Derek grew up in a family that owned a successful small business, so he really understands what small business owners need and what they are looking for from a trusted accountant.
Before starting Twelve Chartered Accountants 16 years ago, Derek was a partner in a large Sydney city based firm and prior to that he worked for Ernst & Young. Derek has the big city experience to deal with most challenges and makes this wealth of experience available to local people who may not usually have access to someone like him.
Derek understands what people want from a result-driven accountant. He puts the same care into looking after other people's financial affairs as he would if it was his own. This means getting to understand the nuts and bolts of them and what latitude there is to reduce taxes and increase cash-flow.
Derek is passionate about his work and loves to help people, it's just the way he is.
